Not only does she not stop him, she actively encourages him, and tries to (or, depending your playthrough, actually does) fuck him!Ĭan a 16 year old underdeveloped kid who is homeless, broke, and running in fear for his life consent to much of anything, let alone sex? This small detail seems to have been glossed over so far, maybe partly due to the gender of the characters. She's more mature than Sean, and should know better than to let him get involved with drugs, alcohol, and sex - all of which are extremely dangerous for someone in his position.

While Cassidy has a sob story of her own, she's still largely choosing to be where she is. He didn't choose the life he is living in the story, at least in the sense that he felt no other choice. He's about the worst-case scenario as far as vulnerable youth go - no money, no family, no one to turn to, and under constant threat of arrest. Given this with Sean's situation, she should not be messing around with him in any way. Let's assume that she is a few years older than Sean, perhaps 18-21. We don't know how old she is, and due to Dontnod's story, any age proves to be terrible for different reasons. With this out of the way, what the hell is the deal with Sean and Cassidy? The Sean and Finn pairing is also inappropriate, but Cassidy is by far the most problematic.

Two brothers Sean and Daniel Diaz, 16 and 9, are forced to run away from home after a tragic incident in Seattle. The award winning Life is Strange series continues with a long-awaited sequel from DONTNOD Entertainment
